Karitane Business Support Service - Supporting Parents, Benefiting Business

Karitane, a registered charity, has been the leader in Child and Family Health Services in Australia since 1923. They are now leading the way in taking their services and expertise into business to provide easy access to practical parenting support for parents in the workplace.

By increasing women’s participation in the workforce by just 6% the national GDP could increase by approximately $25 billion. At the same time postnatal depression or anxiety can affect up to 1 in 7 mums, and 1 in 10 dads often during that vital return to work period. Karitane’s business solutions are designed to transition parents back to work from parental leave, and provide practical parenting advice to the parents at work.

Karitane CEO, Grainne O’Loughlin, states “Progressing a career while raising a family is challenging – even with the support of family, partners and friends.
