To protect the people of NSW, stay-at-home orders have been extended across all of Greater Sydney including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong and Shellharbour which came into effect as of 6pm Saturday, 26 June until 11.59pm Friday, 9 July.
All NSW hospitals, including Karitane, are now on Red Alert, according to the Clinical Excellence Commission’s Response and Escalation Framework for COVID-19.
In order to protect our staff and our patients, Karitane will suspend ALL face-to-face outpatient and inpatient services, community clinics and face-to-face meetings effective Monday 28 June, 2021.
We are currently preparing to offer all our clinical services and scheduled appointments, including additional online webinars, via telehealth and will be preparing for this to happen in a coordinated manner, over the next few days.
If you have a scheduled appointment, your treating clinician and/or service team will be in touch with you over the next 48 hours to offer you either a telehealth service or to make alternative arrangements to help support you at this time.
In this new normal, access for parents remains easier than ever. Parents can still self-refer on-line here.
Karitane remains flexible as we receive updates from NSW Health.
