Education

Karitane’s Education Department  provides education and clinical experience for professionals working with families in Child & Family Health and Perinatal Mental Health settings. In addition, programs specifically for parents, carers and staff are available in a variety of settings .

Our Education Department also provides a consultancy service regarding child & family health matters to community groups and allied organisations. See our courses for professionals. 

Qualifications

Karitane participates in the following professional qualifications:

Master of Child and Family Health – Karitane: In conjunction with the University of Western Sydney, this is offered as a 2 year part-time course. Find out more…

Parent Child Interaction Therapy Training: This training is for practitioners who are new to PCIT or may have had exposure to the intervention but have not received formal training and are looking to gain certification with PCIT International. Please note the training comprises 2 workshops with supervision requirements. There are 4 steps in the process.
 

Seminars, Workshops and Conferences

Karitane run a range of seminars, workshops and conferences for professionals working in child and family health. 

We also support a range of events run by our partner organisations. 

Professional Education at Your Site

Parenting Education
