Overview
This course is designed to provide an overview of the key components of the Family Partnership Model Foundation Training, which is an evidence based, advanced communication course highly recommended for all staff working with children and families. This two-day workshop has been designed to support and develop the skills and qualities of non-clinical staff to actively implement the FPM approach to all interactions with both colleagues, and children and families they may come into contact with. This training is recommended for reception, administration, finance, maintenance, hotel services, WHS, Quality and Safety staff.
This course is interactive, utilising explorative discussion and is delivered within a shared, experiential learning environment over 2 full days. Participants are asked to bring work or personal reflections to discuss and to allow them to practice skills of working in partnership during the training.
NOTE: This training is a pre-requisite for any non-clinical staff who wish to participate in the FPM reflective Supervision training and have not yet completed the FPM Foundation training previously.
