Experienced Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (I-PCIT) Clinician

 

Status: Temporary Full-time/Part-Time contract until June 30, 2026

Department: Perinatal, Infant and Child Mental Health Services (KIDS HUB)

Operational Base: Perinatal, Infant and Child Mental Health Services (Toddler Clinic)

Karitane Parent, Infant and Child Mental Health Services (PICMHS) provides mental health assessment and therapeutic intervention for parents during the perinatal period (pregnancy and the first postpartum year) and families with young children for 0-5 years.

The successful applicant will deliver I-PCIT (PCIT program via the virtual platform) to families accessing the KIDS HUB – A project initiative and partnership between the Ministry of Health and Karitane. The PCIT Clinician will be required to deliver services to meet the agreed number of families set by the lead agency.
