Experienced Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (I-PCIT) Clinician

 

Status: Temporary Full-time/Part-Time contract until June 30, 2026

Department: Perinatal, Infant and Child Mental Health Services (KIDS HUB)

Operational Base: Perinatal, Infant and Child Mental Health Services (Toddler Clinic)

Karitane Parent, Infant and Child Mental Health Services (PICMHS) provides mental health assessment and therapeutic intervention for parents during the perinatal period (pregnancy and the first postpartum year) and families with young children for 0-5 years.

The successful applicant will deliver I-PCIT (PCIT program via the virtual platform) to families accessing the KIDS HUB – A project initiative and partnership between the Ministry of Health and Karitane. The PCIT Clinician will be required to deliver services to meet the agreed number of families set by the lead agency.

The Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 1/2(CNC1/2) Perinatal Infant and Child Mental Health (PICMH) clinician will provide clinical expertise and promote the development of Perinatal, Infant and Child Mental Health practice through the CNC list of domains and functions (NSW Health, 2017: IB2017_002)

The PICMH CNC1/2 will be responsible for clinical support and capability development of staff and students throughout the organisation, participate in the delivery of high-quality services, provide clinical leadership in practice, participate in education and research initiatives and demonstrate leadership in the workplace.

Hours:  Temporary Full-Time Sep-Jan 2026; 40 hours per week

Operational Base: All Karitane sites

Aboriginal Family Support Worker

Karitane is seeking a qualified and experienced candidate to fill the role of Aboriginal Family Support Worker. You will be based at the Campbelltown sites -  Karitane Campbelltown Campus & Village Connect Campbelltown. This role will at times involve some travel to other Karitane Metropolitan sites. 

HOURS: Part-Time 20 hours per week

STATUS: Part-Time Fixed Term until June 2027

OPERATIONAL BASE: The main location will be at the Head Office - Fairfield Integrated Child and Family Hub ( 138-150 The Horsley Drive, Carramar) other locations include Randwick and Campbelltown. Noting that this role will involve some travel to other Karitane Metropolitan sites.

RENUMERATION:    Aboriginal Health workers (NSW Health Award) or State-based equivalent year $ 40 - 45 / hour  (Full time equivalent maximum to $90,357.00 - Pro-rata wages for part time hours)
