Workshop Overview

This model provides a framework for developing a consistent approach to working with families, identifying strengths and empowering families to facilitate change.  This internationally recognised course is interactive, utilising explorative discussion and delivered within a shared, experiential ONLINE learning environment over 4 days.

Participants are actively encouraged to bring clinical and personal reflections about their observations and clinical experiences as well undertake the home tasks which consists of some readings from the FPM Reflective Practice Handbook and short reflective practice exercises. This 4 Day FPM foundation training was introduced 2 years ago in the UK and is now being introduced in Australia. Karitane is inviting participants to join these pilot training groups for free and in return help us with your honest and constructive feedback to ensure the training is being delivered in appropriate ways to suit the Australian context for learning and practice.
