Karitane continues to monitor and respond to COVID-19 following all NSW Health guidelines. To keep families as safe as possible we have temporarily suspended face-to-face services and are offering all families Telehealth virtual consultations. Access for parents remains easier than ever, parents can self-refer on-line here. For our COVID-19 update see here.
Karitane parenting centres empower families by providing education, support and guidance for parents with children from newborn to 5 years. We work in partnership with you to identify your goals and develop an individualised parenting plan with strategies to support you. This service includes individual consultations with a child and family health nurse and therapeutic groups. Some of our parenting centres are co-located with other health services, the range of services can vary depending on the unique needs of the local community.
Karitane is not only a provider of such vital services to families, it is also a warm and welcoming environment for families. The traditional yet professional approach in which Karitane provides its services is what makes Karitane a leader.
To any parents considering Karitane I highly recommend them. This facility is worth its weight in gold and the nurses are complete angels with zero judgement. Thankyou Karitane. I could cry thinking about the progress we have made with your help.
Karitane gave me the confidence and skills to really enjoy being a mother. We are now in a great and flexible routine and have a much better sleeping baby. Can't thank them enough!
