Nurse unit manager level 2 residential unit & virtual residential parenting service

Purpose of the Position; 

An exciting opportunity exists for a Nurse Unit Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team at the Karitane Carramar inpatient Residential Unit and the Virtual Residential Parenting Service. The Carramar Residential Unit is a tertiary service offering an intensive inpatient program over 4 nights and 5 days to families in NSW experiencing significant parenting challenges with children aged 0-5 years of age. The Virtual Residential Parenting Service is an innovative virtual modality of service provision which involves the delivery of a virtual residential intensive program to families over a 4 night 5 day period. The Nurse Unit Manager will lead the successful implementation of this program by supporting the team and the organisation.

Aboriginal Liaison Officer – NSW, National Perinatal Infant Mental Health Connect & Care

Purpose of the Position; 

This is a truly once in a lifetime opportunity to work with the National PIMH Connect & Care Team engaged in the implementation and ongoing development of a new, exciting and highly impactful care navigation service with a leading non-profit parenting support service provider and experienced consortium members.

In an Australian-first, Perinatal Infant Mental Health place-based navigators will be triaging and coordinating referrals from around the country, ensuring expansive local knowledge and subsequent location-specific support pathways. The Aboriginal Liaison Officer will support the PIMH Care Navigators, Administrative team,   National PIMH Director and AAPCH colleagues to connect Aboriginal families to perinatal infant mental health services that best meet their needs.

Purpose of the Position;

Our specialist perinatal (conception to one year postpartum) clinicians provide a wide range of individual, couple and parent-infant therapies to women and their partners. In addition to pre-conception counselling, we offer services to those experiencing, or at risk of developing, perinatal depressive, anxiety and trauma or stressor-related disorders. Support is also provided to women and their partners who have experienced a pregnancy or childbirthrelated loss, e.g. stillbirth, miscarriage or termination.
