Four tips to make sure your baby is comfortable.

1. Check that your baby is not too hot or cold by placing your hand on the baby’s chest or tummy.
2. A good rule on how to dress your baby comfortably is to add one extra layer on what you would normally wear.
3. In cold weather, if you have a heater in the room, make sure the room is ventilated so that it does not overheat.
4. In hot weather, you could try to get some cool air into the room, but don’t direct a fan straight onto the cot, or let the room get too cold.
