For new mum Teneille Houghton, getting baby Lola into the right routine has been a challenge. But she is grateful she hasn’t had to get into the far more challenging routine of travelling to Sydney to access parenting support. The Dubbo mother is one of many to benefit from Karitane’s telehealth virtual home visits. In an Australia-first for new parents and their families, child and family health nurses from the Carramar-based charity provide consultations via a live web link to families across NSW without the need to leave their homes.
